The proposed energy concept involves the use of geothermal energy, photovoltaic panels, and heat pumps on a large scale throughout the entire community, as well as an ambivalent ceiling heating and cooling system. The heat pumps produce the thermal agent for the passive cooling system at ceiling level in the living spaces. The photovoltaic panels supply the electrical energy required for the operation of the heat pumps. The building automation system optimises energy consumption. The blinds can be closed manually or automatically under sunny conditions. Heat recovery units ensure a supply of fresh air indoors, promoting a healthy indoor climate and energy efficiency.
